Cookie Policy

Effective date: July 3, 2026. This policy explains how rummy.now uses cookies and similar storage.

The short version: we use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect forms. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and your game stats live in your browser, not on a server.

What we use

Essential cookies

When you sign in or submit a form (like contact), we set a small session cookie that keeps you logged in and blocks cross-site request forgery. Without these, accounts and forms cannot work. They are removed when you sign out or your session ends.

Local storage (not a cookie)

Your wins, best times, streaks, in-progress games and settings are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. This never leaves your browser unless you sign in and choose to sync it. Clearing your browser data erases it.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage - things like which games are popular. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally, and we do not sell it. See our privacy policy for details.

What we do not use

  • No advertising cookies.
  • No cross-site or third-party tracking pixels.
  • No selling or sharing of personal data.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies means sign-in and forms will not work, but you can still play every game as a guest - no account needed. Questions? Reach us through the contact page.
